Ep14 - Coping with Estrangement, Addiction, and Death.
Welcome back friends. I am so thankful that you joined us today. Just a bit of a confession, today’s episode is a bit on the heavy side. Last week I was on my cousin Thania’s podcast, Faith and Other F Words and we chatted about some serious experiences happening in our family this week. I know there is a lot going on in the world and I don’t intend to pile on, however, I wanted to take this chance to open up about some things I haven’t shared. Thania shares about her uncle’s battle with cancer and the estrangement that led up to her recent reconnection with him. I open up about my brother’s addiction and his upcoming time to be served in prison. If this is too much for you today, I totally get it, I am struggling right there with you. I am so thankful for you all and I hope this conversation can bring us all a bit closer.

On today’s final episode, we’ve gathered around our holiday table with the family (Jackie, Jessica, mama puche, Thania and Thania’s mom) to reminisce stories of our childhood, the good and the bad. We define what it means to be poor vs rich.
